So, I watched the Golden Globes, and I literally jumped when I saw that Kate won her second of the night, by the end of her speech I was in tears, I am so happy and excited for her (oh god I make it sound like I know her!) I'm predicting two Academy Awards, because after tonight it is obvious that she is the front runner! It was so funny during her speech for "Revolutionary Road" that she apologized to the other actresses in her category and forgot Angelina Jolie, she literally said, "I'm so sorry Anne, Meryl, Kristin.....and oh god whose the other one? Angelina!" It was so great to see her pick up two awards that are long overdue.
I am a bit surprised that Sean Penn did not win for "Milk" but I think it's not a robbery that Mickey Rourke won for "The Wrestler" because he has gotten nothing but praise and it is a comeback performance. So it is well deserved.
I haven't seen "Slumdog Millionaire" but I've heard nothing but good things about it and it literally won every award it was nominated for so good for it, I'll see it soon.
So happy right now, LK what are your thoughts?
