Gwenyth Paltrow's lifestyle website, Goop.com, got slammed by the New York Times. How inredibly pretentious is this? Gwyneth said, "My friends call me all the time to say, 'Where should I go?' or 'What should I do?' And I thought, you know maybe some other people would be interested in it as well, so I started it, and it's doing great."
The website is a drag. Why is she an expert on fitness and cooking all of a sudden? If it was "howtopretendyoureenglish.com, id be ok with it. Being a celebrity doesn't give you lisence to pretend you have expertise in these fields people dedicate their whole lives to. She of course responded to the NY Times bashing by saying, ""I think that people like people to stay in their 'box' – they like people to stay how they are comfortable seeing them." No, some people don't like you because you are a pretentious jackass.
